Escape Velocity: Planetary Reckoning

Charles William Johnson

As we have seen from previous extracts, the solar system is a 360c based system. And, this does not only refer to our system of measurement that is based on a 360-degree circle, but upon the relation of the inner and outer limits of the planetary system. The distance of Mercury from the Sun is cited at 360,000,000 miles, while that of Pluto reveals an average distance of 3,667,000,000 miles. In various aspects of the system, we have seen this near 1 : 100 ratio is maintained, not only in terms of distance, but in other relationships.

An aspect that we shall analyze now concerns that of the escape velocity of the planets. The data offered for the various escape velocities varies for many reasons. The main reason pertains to the source that one references in the citation. But, also there are the physical reasons, that depending upon the mass of the body leaving the gravity field of a planet, and the distance from the planet, and other features, the escape velocity measured also varies. Nonetheless, we shall work with varying values in order to illustrate the general thrust of the argument. It would appear that the solar system reflects a much more conscious design that one could ever imagine. The ancient reckoning system appears to faithfully reflect the characteristics of the solar system in its many aspects. It would appear that even the aspect of escape velocities seems to be registered in the historically significant numbers and their fractal expressions.

Escape velocity increases as the mass of the body increases; more massive bodies exert greater force of gravity, and therefore the escaping object has to move faster. Also, logically enough, escape velocity decreases as distance increases from the source of gravity.

One might imagine that for this reason, the escape velocity corresponding to the planet Earth also varies according to different sources. There does not appear to be a consistent datum that we may cite. The average number seems to revolve around 7 miles per second, although even this number varies considerably between 6.89 and 7.0. It is this number that we shall be discussing mainly in this extract.

We shall also be citing measurements in kilometers at times, employing the conversion numbers of: 1.609005229 and .6215020199. Hence, the escape velocity for Earth kilometers is 11.2630366 kilometers per second. This figure also varies from anywhere between 11.1 and 11.26. The reason for employing both systems of measurement shall be made clear at the end of this essay, but first we should analyze the particulars of the case.

In order to escape Earth's gravity an object must travel around 25000 miles/hour. Different sources cite different velocities. One figure that is cited refers to 24,840 mph (www.library.thinkquest.org). The seven-mile/second figure would produce a velocity of 25200 mph. In order to obtain these figures, one simply multiply the number of miles/second by 3600, which is derived from multiplying the number of miles/second by 60 minutes and 60 seconds (60 x 60 = 3600).

The Escape Velocities from the Surface of the Planets (kms/hour)

Mercury 10,000
Venus 31,000
Earth 40,300 [kms/second = 11.194444]
Mars 18.000
Asteroid (typical) 101
Jupiter 82,400
Saturn 32,600
Uranus 28,000
Neptune 39,600
Pluto 1,440

In previous essays, we have employed the planet mercury as the unit one, and in this manner distinct patterns of behavior have obtained. In the previous table, from the metric system, Mercury is placed as unit one in relation to the other planets in the system in a most natural manner.

Now, let us view these same numbers in terms of the English system.

The Escape Velocities from the Surface of the Planets: (miles/hour)

Mercury 6215.02
Venus 19266.56
Earth 25046.53
Mars 11187.03
Asteroid (typical) 62.77
Jupiter 51211.76
Saturn 20260.96
Uranus 17402.05
Neptune 24611.47
Pluto 894.96

Now, were we to employ these numbers in order to have Mercury as the unit one, then, the numbers relational to the metric system would appear:

The Escape Velocity Ratios for the Planets: Mercury = 1

Mercury 1.0
Venus 3.1
Earth 4.03
Mars 1.8
Asteroid (typical) .0101
Jupiter 8.24
Saturn 3.26
Uranus 2.8
Neptune 3.96
Pluto .144

Let us look at a few, selected numbers cited as the escape velocity in miles/second from the surface of planet earth:

6.89 mps x 3600 = 24804 mph
6.9 x 3600 = 24840
6.93 x 3600 = 24948
6.94 x 3600 = 24984
6.94444 x 3600 = 25000 (rounded off)
6.96 x 3600 = 25056
7.0 x 3600 = 25200

Obviously, there are an infinite number of intermediary figures that could be cited. The commonly cited figure seems to correspond mainly to the 25000 mph figure.

One cannot help but notice the apparent relationship between these numbers (ca., 24804 – 24840) and the circumference of the Earth (24850 miles). An escape velocity number corresponding to the 24850 figure would be 24850 / 3600 = 6.902777778.

Another historically significant number/fractal relates to the 693c, which we have discussed in relation to the Sothic cycle. Interestingly enough, were the 6.93 mps value utilized in the analysis, one would have a projected escape velocity at 24948 mph. Note the following relationship regarding the ancient method of doubling/halving numbers:

24948
49896
99792
199584.0 - 195955.2 (Nineveh) = 36288
        18144

As we have shown in earlier essays, the 18144c relates to the Sothic number 1649.457812.

1649.457812 x 18144 = 299.2776254
    149.6388127

The Earth's distance from the Sun expressed in kilometers is 149.6 million miles.

The 24948 number presents some interesting relationships:

24948 x 3 = 74844

    149688

[149.6 Earth/Sun distance fractal]

    299376

    ...

    19160064
-
19595520 = 435456

435456 / 756 = 576 [756c Great Pyramid; 576c maya]

36 / 24948 = 1443.001443 [mirrored value]

1 / 6.93 = .1443001443

The Great Pyramid's side measurements have been cited as 756c feet. Its angle of inclination is projected to be around 51.5 degrees. Yet, it was once believed to have been 52 degrees.

756 x 52 = 39312
    19656 - 6656 = 13

There are many points to be considered in this computation. The 52c is also the Meso-American calendar round (52c years x 360 = 18980 days). The maya companion number, 1366560, which we consider to represent a certain encoded symbolism, besides representing a simple day-count, is suggested in the previous computation.

24948 x 3 = 74844
    74844 - 74880 = 36 [74880 / 4 = 1872c; maya long count period]

If 74880 / 3 = 24960 / 3600 = 6.93333 [adjusted escape velocity]. This latter figure is totally feasible and within the range of the escape velocity for the surface of Earth. In this manner, the maya long-count period number/fractal relates directly to the escape velocity of Earth.

Some sources cite the 52 degrees as an angle of pitch-over for lift-off of vehicles leaving the Earth's atmosphere and field of gravity. The angle varies, along with many other factors, due to the size of the objects leaving the atmosphere. But, it is interesting to note that:

25200 x 52 = 1310400
    1310400 - 1366560 = 56160
        28080
        14040

The 140400c represents an extremely significant historical date within the maya long-count. And, what if adjustments were simply being made in the ancient computations; then, we would observe the following:

25200 x 51.42857142 = 1296000 [kemi and maya count]
    2592000 [Platonic Cycle 25920 years]

A Venus count, 243c, is historically significant and relates to the Nineveh 1959552c fractal number.

243
486
972
1944
3888
7776

3888 x 25200 = 97977600
        195955200

Obviously, the 24948c relates in a similar manner to the Nineveh number:

3888 x 24948 = 96997824
    193995648 - 195955200 = 1959552

There seems to be no apparent reason why the escape velocity factors should relate so easily to the historically significant numbers and their fractals. The simple explanation concerns the use of an underlying 360c system in both realms; that of nature and that of the ancient reckoning system. The Sothic cycle may be emphasizing the 6.93c in relation to the 52c and the 36c:

6.93 x 52 = 36036

The 54c kemi count may be emphasizing the maya long-count (1872000 period) in turn:

6.93 x 54 = 37422   [374 (2+2) = 3744]
        1872c

37440 - 36036 = 1404

And, the ancient 364c day-count appears as another kind of emphasis:

693 x 364 = 252252 [mirror number]
693 x 63 = 43659 - 24948 = 18711 [187(1+1) = 1872c]

The significance of the differences and addition of terms regarding a possible ancient reckoning method has been the object of discussion throughout the Earth/matriX series of essays and extracts. These are simply a few examples of that perceived kind of reasoning.

It is difficult, if not impossible, for us to affirm that the ancients reasoned in the manner as shown above. The historical record is silent in this regard. But, what does appear to be significant is that the ancient reckoning system shares many of the numbers and their fractal expressions that coincidentally just happen to be significant numbers within today's science of space technology.

And, beyond that particular coincidence of terms, there are other coincidences that simply defy explanation. A the beginning of this essay, we cited a few numbers regarding the escape velocities for other planets, besides that of the planet Earth.

One would not expect there to exist any particular significance among the escape velocities of the different planets, other than the general laws of gravity as cited by scientists. However, there are certain relationships that somehow we find intriguing and impossible to explain. The only thing for us to do is to illustrate these findings.

Remember that we said that the escape velocity most commonly cited for Earth in terms of miles per second is that of 6.94444 mps (in reference to 25000 mph); and that of 11.1 kms/s (and, 11.2 kms/s) for the metric system. Strangely enough these numbers are directly related to the escape velocity of the planet Pluto, irrespective of the measuring system employed.

1 / 1440 (kilometers/hour)
:
6.944444444 (miles/second)
1 / 894.96 (miles/hour)
:
.0011173684 (kilometers/second)

Notice the inversion of the measuring systems. The question becomes that of explaining why, within the nature of matter/energy in our solar system, would the outer limit planet, Pluto, have an escape velocity that is directly reciprocal to that of the third planet, Earth, in the system. We have seen that the escape velocity for Earth is cited within a specific range of numbers. That is a question that we cannot answer at this moment. The numbers 6.9444 (mps) and 11.19444 (kms/s) are quite relevant and common to this range, and correspond to the reciprocal of the numbers relating to Pluto's escape velocity. In other words, the escape velocity of Pluto is almost an exact reciprocal of the escape velocity of Earth. This confirms the inter-relatedness of the matter-energy events in our solar system, and beyond that it confirms some of our suspicions for the chosen historically significant numbers of the ancient reckoning system.

The coincidences are to be found, not only within the selected numbers/fractals of the ancient reckoning system, but within nature itself.

Observations

The possible relationships are far too many to illustrate in this brief extract. However, we have examined at least some of the relationships that appear to be determinant in considering the ancient reckoning system in the light of the concept of "escape velocities", especially regarding that of the planet Earth. But, as we have observed, the relationships reach far beyond our own planet, and the nature of matter-energy continues to defy our mental capacity. One can readily understand a direct relationship between the escape velocity of the innermost planet, Mercury, with that of the outermost planet, Pluto, in our solar system. But, to view such a direct numerical relationship between the escape velocity of the third planet within the system (Earth) in relation to the outermost planet, somehow represents a challenge in the analysis.

And, to further the challenge, one must take into consideration the coincidences of these same numbers in relation to the historically significant numbers and their fractal expressions in the ancient reckoning system.
